The insulation layer thermally separates the system from the underlying floor reducing heating times by 76 minutes, on concrete subfloors, and energy used for heating by 69%.

Also, the aluminum foil, which enhances the spread of heat, in combination with the insulation allows the floor to heat up and cool down faster, offers more comfort and reduces running costs, providing 50% more uniformity in the spread of heat.

The base's single sheet of polypropylene fleece acts as a high-performance protective film that protects the final floor finish from cracking.

Finally, the design of the lightweight, composite insulation board allows cutting into curves or complex patterns more easily than would be the case with insulation boards or cement-based tile insulation, while avoiding wear and tear on the cutting tools.
Ultralight insulation boards do not release dust when they are cut, no one needs to inhale or clean up any kind of dust during their installation.
